Registration

Thank you to all swimmers who registered for BOTB 2020!

We are grateful to all of you!  Some of you needed a refund, many donated the registration fee to Easter Seals while many others deferred your entry until our 2021 event scheduled for July 10th. We trust that you appreciated all of the options available to you!

Those who deferred until next year will be notified by email once the 2021 online registration opens, sometime on or after February 1st, 2021, subject to the improvement of COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines.

Part of a team or club?  Join-in on the BOTB Team Challenge. Not sure about open water swimming?  Give some thought about the Swim Angel  program.

If you prefer to register for the swim by phone, please contact: TBA

All registrations are final: Swimmers who register but subsequently find themselves unable to participate are welcome to transfer their registrations to other swimmers. A registered swimmer who wishes to transfer his or her registration is responsible for finding someone to take over the registration.

If you are unable to transfer your registration, Easter Seals may be able to issue you a tax receipt for your donation. Tax rules do not permit donation receipts to be issued if you swim.

Reminder to all participants: In order to ensure a high level of safety and a quality event, there will be a 10:00 am cut off for all swimmers. If you have queries, please contact one of our swim directors.

Race Kit Pickup

BOTB Sports Towel. Approximately 2′ x 4′

Race-kit pickup will take place at the Nepean Sailing Club, on Friday July 9th, from 5 – 8pm.  There will be a small expo at the race-kit pickup, as well as our traditional orientation sessions for new swimmers to become familiar with the venue layout.

Also available for purchase,  we will have BOTB Sports towels available, with 100% of all proceeds going to Easter Seals.

Friday will also provide an opportunity for any final changes to your registration regarding use of wetsuits or non-wetsuits.

Primarily for out of town swimmers, there will be race-kit pickup Saturday morning of the swim from 7:00 – 7:30. Please plan to be early, and avoid a last minute rush before the swim start.

Timing Chip Distribution: once again, we will be using Sportstats to provide timing and as an added safety feature for our swim event.  Timing chips will be pickup up Saturday morning at the swim start area from 7:00 – 7:45 am.  All swimmers need to have a timing chip to be permitted in the water as part of this event.
