A slight southwest wind created a little chop on the water. But that didn’t stop 721 swimmers from crossing Britannia Bay on our most successful swim ever. Once again we achieved record participants and fundraising! Congratulations to all swimmers!

Results 2018
The wet morning cleared up to provide ideal conditions and super calm water for this years event with a record 709 swimmers climbing the red finisher ladders: including 89 participants of the growing 1.5K event. Swimmers ranged from 9 to 80 years old. Check out the BOTB 2018 quick summary!

We also had 6 more swimmers join the 10-year BOTB ranks, and have all earned permanent numbers on our event.
Results 2017
Another great day, with high waters in July provided a challenging swim for the first 1700m, and then some relief on the final 1300 stretch to the finish line.

Update: Recognition to Mae Waldie who was our sole W70+ participant (at 79 years), completing the swim in a very respectable 1:02:44.5, and we’ve opened that category for her!

Results 2010
Another record-breaking turnout for the Bushtukah Bring on the Bay Swim and another record-breaking donation to Easter Seals! In all, 181 swimmers registered and 171 took to the water and completed the swim. Thank you for participating and thank you for helping Ottawa’s Easter Seals Kids. We hope to see you again in July 2011!

Thank you to all participants in the third annual Bushtukah Bring on the Bay swim in support of Easter Seals kids, which took place on Saturday, July 18, 2009. After a short weather delay, a record 76 swimmers completed the 2009 swim in ideal conditions. We look forward to your support on Saturday, July 17, 2010.
